Sports car clocked at 106 km/h on Christina Street

Sarnia police clocked a black sports car at over twice the posted speed limit on Christina Street May 6.

The 23-year-old female was pulled over and charged with stunt driving for travelling 106 km/h in the posted 50 km/h zone.

Police said the person's vehicle was impounded for seven days and their licence was suspended for a 30 days.

If the driver is convicted in court, they receive six demerit points on their licence.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
