Vessel capsizes on St. Clair River

No injuries were reported after a vessel capsized in the St. Clair River Monday night.

Sarnia Fire and Rescue, along with assistance from Point Edward Fire and Rescue, the Canadian Coast Guard and the U.S. Coast Guard, responded to a call of a capsized vessel with four people in the water.

The vessel, along with one person, was located on the shoreline. Officials said the other three had left the area prior to their arrival.

The vessel was towed to the boat launch.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
