Three people taken to hospital after St. Clair Township crash

Three people were taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries following a crash south of Sarnia Tuesday morning.

Two passenger vehicles collided at the intersection of Kimball Road and Petrolia Line around 8:20 a.m.

Lambton OPP said the intersection was closed for over an hour while the scene was cleared.

A 55-year-old from Wallaceburg has been charged with failing to yield to traffic.

St. Clair Township volunteer firefighters and Lambton EMS also responded to the crash.

A roundabout or traffic lights are being considered for the dangerous intersection.

Lambton County Council approved spending an additional $100,000 during 2023 budget deliberations for staff to conduct a preliminary design study and environmental assessment.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
