Drug trafficking charges in joint police effort

A 33-year-old Sarnia woman is again facing drug trafficking charges following a recent joint investigation at Kettle & Stony Point First Nation.

Lambton OPP said members of its Community Street Crimes Unit along with members of the Anishinabek Police Service arrested the woman during a traffic stop on June 2, following a drug trafficking investigation.

OPP said at the time, the accused was on conditions of house arrest from a previous drug trafficking conviction.

During a search, police seized suspected fentanyl, methamphetamine, hydromorphone, and distribution materials.

Danielle Waddilove was charged with three counts of possession of a schedule one substance for the purpose of trafficking.

OPP said she was held in custody following a bail hearing on June 3.

Charges against the accused have not been proven in court.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
