Dog bite incident reported in Sarnia

Lambton Public Health (LPH) is looking for a medium-sized dog and its owner after someone was bitten at a crosswalk, located at Christina Street North and George Street in Sarnia.

The incident reportedly occurred on Friday, June 30 at 11 p.m.

LPH said the dog had dark fur and resembled a mastiff.

The dog was with a man believed to be between 30 and 40 years old. He was described as being slender, average in height, with short dark hair.

If the dog's health status isn't verified, the victim will need post-exposure rabies shots.
