High levels of air pollution are possible this afternoon.

An AIR QUALITY WARNING is in place due to the possibility of deteriorating air quality. Hot and sunny conditions are expected to cause increasing ground-level ozone concentrations this afternoon. Moderate risk AQHI values are expected throughout the day with the potential of short-term high risk AQHI values in the afternoon.

When air pollution levels are high, everyone should limit time outdoors. Consider reducing or rescheduling outdoor sports, activities and events.

You may experience mild and common symptoms such as eye, nose and throat irritation, headaches or a mild cough. More serious but less common symptoms include wheezing, chest pains or severe cough. If you think you are having a medical emergency, seek immediate medical assistance.

People more likely to be impacted by outdoor air pollution, including people aged 65 and older, pregnant people, infants and young children, people with an existing illness or chronic health condition, and people who work outdoors, should reduce or reschedule strenuous activities outdoors and seek medical attention if experiencing symptoms.

You can expect partly cloudy in the morning, with rain in the afternoon

<p>Traffic appears to be moving again in the eastbound lanes of Highway 402 between Mandaumin Road and Oil Heritage Road following an overnight collision involving a tractor-trailer.</p><p>OPP tweeted about the closure at 11:44 p.m. on Sunday. </p><p>A tractor-trailer blocked the lanes, forcing a lengthy closure that extended into Monday afternoon. </p><p>Plympton-Wyoming Fire officials confirmed to Sarnia News Today that the highway reopened shortly before 2 p.m. </p><p>No details about the collision, such as possible injuries, have been released by Lambton OPP.</p><div data-twitter-post><iframe src="https://twitframe.com/show?url=https://twitter.com/OPP_COMM_WR/status/1678288952149647366" width="600" height="700"></iframe></div>
