Hwy. 402 reopens several hours after overnight crash

Traffic appears to be moving again in the eastbound lanes of Highway 402 between Mandaumin Road and Oil Heritage Road following an overnight collision involving a tractor-trailer.

OPP tweeted about the closure at 11:44 p.m. on Sunday.

A tractor-trailer blocked the lanes, forcing a lengthy closure that extended into Monday afternoon.

Plympton-Wyoming Fire officials confirmed to Sarnia News Today that the highway reopened shortly before 2 p.m.

No details about the collision, such as possible injuries, have been released by Lambton OPP.
