Heroin, cocaine seized at Blue Water Bridge

A total of 90 bricks of heroin and cocaine, worth approximately $6 million, has been seized at the Blue Water Bridge.

Two men were arrested on Saturday.

An RCMP spokesperson told Sarnia News Today that 40 bricks of cocaine and 50 bricks of heroin were seized. Each brick weighed approximately one kilogram.

Emmanuel Dangyimah, 32, of Toronto, and Reinhard Owusu-Appiah, 35, of Ottawa are both facing multiple charges under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act, including possession for the purpose of trafficking.

The RCMP said the two had a court appearance on July 11.

Officials have not specified what type of vehicle the two were in as it's an ongoing investigation.

The Canada Border Services Agency referred all questions to the RCMP.
