Bluewater Health secures new radiologist

A new radiologist has joined the professional staff at Bluewater Health.

Dr. Sohaib Munir completed his medical degree at Queen’s University, followed by specialty training in Diagnostic Radiology at Western University and a Musculoskeletal Radiology Fellowship at McMaster University.

Before coming to Sarnia full time, Dr. Munir was practicing at Hamilton Health Sciences and providing after-hours coverage at Bluewater Health.

"I had heard much about Bluewater Health's outstanding work environment, its commitment to patient care, and fantastic community," Munir said in a news release. “My experiences confirmed just as much, if not more. It is a privilege to join the team!"

Chief of Staff Dr. Mike Haddad said they are "always focused" on ensuring the hospital has specialists to meet the needs of the community.

"We have an excellent Diagnostic Imaging department, and I am very pleased that Dr. Munir has chosen to practice at Bluewater Health,” Haddad said.
