Youth in hospital following serious crash involving dirt bike

A young dirt bike rider was taken to hospital with life threatening injuries following a two-vehicle crash in Plympton-Wyoming Wednesday evening.

First responders were called to a collision involving a dirt bike and a motor vehicle on Confederation Line near Fairweather Road at around 6:15 p.m. That area was closed until about 11 p.m.

Lambton OPP said the youth is now in stable condition and the injuries are no longer life threatening.

Police said no charges have been laid at this time as the investigation is currently ongoing. Updates will be provided when they become available.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
