County of Lambton holding job fairs to fill winter positions

Those who enjoy working out in the cold may be interested in filling a seasonal position with the County of Lambton.

The Public Works Department is looking for winter patrollers, operators, and winter control plow operators.

Job fairs are scheduled for Wednesday, September 13 from 8:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. and Monday, September 18 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at the County Administration Building at 789 Broadway Street in Wyoming.

Operations Manager Tom Kelly said applications for these positions are currently available through the county’s online job board.

"These events will be a great opportunity for interested applicants to come meet some of the team and ask any questions they may have about the positions," said Kelly. "We will also have staff from Human Resources on site to assist with setting up a profile on our job board and completing applications."

Kelly asked applicants to have a digital copy of their resume available.

Those unable to attend the sessions, but would like to learn more about the positions, are asked to contact Tom Kelly at 519-845-0809 ext. 5326 or Robin Parsons at 519-845-0809 ext. 5375.
