Boil water advisory continues for Kettle and Stony Point

A boil water alert declared for the Chippewas of Kettle and Stony Point First Nation on Friday continued Monday morning following a water main break.

In an update posted on social media Sunday, the First Nation said the water line has been repaired.

Water will be tested again on Tuesday to ensure it is safe, and as a precaution residents are asked to continue to boil water for a full five minutes before consumption.

Bottled water will be distributed from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. Monday at the Three Fires Youth Centre.
