Police searching for suspect in early morning robbery

Sarnia police are investigating a robbery at an Exmouth Street convenience store late last week.

Police said just before 1:30 a.m. on Thursday, September 28 a male suspect entered the Circle K brandishing a knife.

It's alleged the suspect took an undisclosed amount of cash and took off.

He's described as white, about 5'10" tall with a thin build. The suspect was wearing a black hoodie, a black balaclava, black pants and brown shoes with white soles. Police said he also had one black glove with white markings and a yellow glove.

Police have released surveillance photos of the suspect.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
