Windsor Spitfires fall to Sarnia Sting

It took a little to get going, but the Sarnia Sting pulled out a win over the Windsor Spitfires Saturday night.

Windsor had its lead going into the third period but folded in the final 20 minutes in a 6-3 loss to the Sarnia Sting at the WFCU Centre.

The Spitfires built up a 2-0 lead on the Sting, but the Sting cashed in on a power play in the second period and scored.

Sarnia took its first lead of the game at 3-2 in the third period.

Marko Sikic added a goal for Sarnia and Daylen Moses closed the scoring with a goal into an empty Windsor net.

More to come.
