UPDATE: Two convenience stores targeted by robbers

Sarnia police are investigating a pair of early morning robberies at separate convenience stores.

Police said the first happened at about 5:45 a.m. Sunday at a gas station convenience store on London Road near Murphy Road.

It's alleged a male suspect, approximately 5'7", wearing a sky blue coat, white flip-flops, navy pants, and a black Under Armour sweatshirt robbed the store of a quantity of cash and cigarettes.

Sania police released an image of the suspect Monday afternoon.

Shortly after 4 a.m. Monday, police were called about a robbery at a convenience store on Trudeau Drive near Confederation Street.

Police said a suspect wearing a black facemask made off with a quantity of cash and lottery tickets. 

They're described as male, wearing black hoodie, a black baseball cap with a multi-coloured logo and purple latex gloves.

Police said no injuries were reported to either victim.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
