Sarnia couple celebrates ENCORE win

A Sarnia couple is making plans to spend a large cash windfall.

The Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation said Derek and Tracie Nienhuis won $100,000 playing ENCORE in the Lotto 6/49 draw on September 27.

OLG said the winning ticket, purchased at Milk Marc Variety on Murphy Road, matched six of the last seven ENCORE numbers in exact order.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
