A photo posted by West Region OPP to X (formerly Twitter) shortly after 4 p.m. showed a tractor on its side and a damaged pickup truck.
Police haven't said if charges were laid.
The investigation is ongoing.
People in southern Huron and Lambton counties are being told to limit their time outside.
