School bus crash in Thedford area

No passengers were injured in a collision involving a school bus in the Thedford area Wednesday morning.

The Lambton Kent District School Board reported just before noon Wednesday that the "swimmer" bus that transports students to Bosanquet Central Public School had arrived at school safely after it was struck by a car.

The school board said the collision occurred about 200 yards away from the school.

Lambton OPP have not released any information on the crash.

November arrived with a blanket of snow in north and east Lambton County.

A winter weather travel advisory was posted for the area, with snow and gusty winds creating a messy commute. It was lifted just after noon Wednesday.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
