No charges laid in single-vehicle crash

Emergency crews responded to a single-vehicle crash early Sunday morning.

According to police, a car left the roadway in the area of Churchill Line and Tecumseh Road and struck a hydro pole.

Police have determined that the crash occurred because the driver suffered a medical episode resulting in no charges being laid.

The driver suffered minor injuries.

Churchill Line was closed during the police investigation, but has since re-opened.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
