Lambton OPP and Lambton EMS responded to a three vehicle crash south of Wellington Street just before 8 a.m.
The highway was closed in both directions for about two hours and reopened just before 10 a.m.
Police said two people were taken to hospital for treatment.
Careless driving charges are pending.
