UPDATE: Two injured in workplace explosion

Two people were injured in an industrial accident Tuesday in the city's south end.

Sarnia Fire and Rescue, Sarnia police and Lambton EMS responded to reports of an explosion at a workplace on Henry Drive near Degurse Drive shortly before 5 p.m.

The Ontario Fire Marshal's Office has been notified and the Ministry of Labour is investigating the incident that sent two men to hospital.

The extent of their injuries is unknown at this time.
