Suspect flees after crashing stolen vehicle

Sarnia police are looking for a driver involved in an early morning crash Wednesday.

Police said just after 3 a.m., a car rolled in the area of Scott Road and Williams Drive.

When officers arrived, the vehicle was empty.

Police said the Lambton OPP Canine Unit was called and conducted a search of the area. The Sarnia police drone was also used, however a driver was not located.

Police have spoken with the registered owner of the vehicle, and it's been determined the car was stolen.

The area was closed to traffic until just before 10:30 a.m.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
