Power disrupted following crash

Sarnia police were asking the public to avoid the intersection at Vidal Street South and Wellington Street following a crash.

Police said a hydro pole was snapped in half during a two-vehicle collision late Sunday morning.

The intersection was closed for over three hours.

Bluewater Power was called to deal with the situation and replace the hydro pole.

A driver was charged with failing to stop at a red light.
