Just before midnight, emergency crews responded to Colborne Road and Michigan Avenue after a vehicle struck a pedestrian.
The pedestrian was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
The driver of the vehicle has been charged with failing to yield to a pedestrian.
The intersection was closed while police cleared the scene, but has since reopened.
People in southern Huron and Lambton counties are being told to limit their time outside.
