Guelph takes Sarnia by storm with 3-2 overtime win

The Sarnia Sting (15-21-2-0) lost on the road Sunday to the Guelph Storm (23-13-2-1) snapping a three game winning streak.

Marko Sikic got Sarnia on the board early in the first period. The Storm's Jake Karabela and Thomas Budnick would both score in the first to take a 2-1 lead.

The Sting's Ryan Brown scored the equalizer early in the second period.

After a scoreless third frame, Braeden Bowman scored on a power play at 2:25 in overtime to lift the Storm to a 3-2 victory.

The Sting are off until Wednesday night when they host the London Knights at Progressive Auto Sales Arena. You can catch the game live on CHOK (103.9FM/1070AM) beginning with the pregame show at 6:30 p.m.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
