A 33-year-old man was seriously injured in a stabbing on Friday night.
Sarnia police were called at around 8 p.m. to the area of Devine Street between Indian Road and Lilian Street.
When emergency crews arrived, they located a man who was conscious and bleeding from the back of his neck, and had difficulty moving parts of his body.
The victim was taken to Bluewater Health for emergency assessment.
Police said during the early stages of the investigation it was revealed that the victim was riding his bicycle when he encountered two other males and an argument occurred.
The encounter then escalated into a physical altercation in which one of the suspects is alleged to have stabbed the victim in the back of the neck.
The two suspects then fled the area.
According to police, the victim sustained a serious injury to his spinal cord. He has since been transferred to Victoria Hospital in London for specialized care.

Anyone with video footage or who saw the incident is also being asked to talk to police.
