Icy, snowy conditions cancel school buses

Poor driving conditions and forecasted weather cancelled school bus transportation in the region Tuesday.

School buses in all zones, 1 through 8, for the St. Clair Catholic and Lambton Kent District School Boards have been cancelled.

Sarnia-Lambton was under a freezing rain warning and winter weather travel advisory. Environment Canada ended the warning shortly after 9 a.m.

The local area is expected to see snow mixed with ice pellets with a risk of freezing rain, before tapering off Tuesday evening.
