A boil water alert has been declared for the Chippewas of Kettle and Stony Point First Nation.
The First Nation's health services department issued the alert Friday morning, as a precaution, after a malfunction was reported at the water treatment plant that services the community.
Residents are being told to bring the water to a full boil for five minutes and cool before use.
It's encouraged you follow the boil water instruction for any water that may be ingested, through drinking, eating, bathing and personal grooming.
