UPDATE: Missing man found safe

Lambton OPP says a 59-year-old man reported missing Monday afternoon has been found safe.

A missing person advisory was issued over social media late Monday afternoon for a man only identified as "Imran."

He was last seen on St. Clair Street in Point Edward. The initial social media post was deleted once Imran was found.

"Thanks to everyone who was looking out in their communities and called with information," read an updated OPP social media post.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
