The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) has issued a recall for summer sausage from a Midwestern Ontario meat shop due to possible Listeria contamination.
The recall is for Bauman's Country Meat Shop in Dobbinton. The affected products include Large Summer Sausage (around 7 lbs) and Small Summer Sausage (around 3 lbs) which were packed on January 23 and have a best before date of August 10, 2024. The CFIA says the product was sold in Ontario.
CFIA says the recall was triggered by test results and "there have been no reported illnesses associated with the consumption of these products."
