Suspects sought in Sarnia drive-by shooting

Nobody was hurt in a drive-by shooting in a residential Sarnia neighbourhood.

City police continue to investigate the incident that happened in the Cardiff Acres area Tuesday night.

Officers were called to a home on Fairview Place after shots were fired from a passing vehicle at around 10:30 p.m.

Police allege an unknown person indiscriminately launched a volley of rapid fire gunshots at a family home.

The bullets penetrated the exterior of the building, and thankfully none of the occupants were struck as the bullets entered the home.

Police are appealing to anyone with information or who may have video surveillance in the area to contact the Sarnia Police Service Criminal Investigations Division at 519-344-8861, or Sarnia-Lambton Crime Stoppers at 519-332-TIPS (8477).
