Teen suspect sought in Sarnia stabbing

A Sarnia man was rushed to hospital in a stabbing Monday.

Police responded to an incident at around midnight at an Exmouth Street home.

A 37-year-old man was found to be suffering from at least two stab wounds to his back and was taken to Bluewater Health with serious but non-life threatening injuries.

Police alleged a group of teens, 14 to 18 years old, were involved in an argument with the victim who had asked the suspects to leave his home, which sparked the altercation.

The 18-year-old has been identified, and police are obtaining a warrant for his arrest on charges of aggravated assault, and assault with a weapon.

The other teens have been identified and are not facing charges at this time.

Police said the victim, who is in stable condition, and the suspects are all known to each other.
