Sarnia police have arrested a second suspect in connection with a serious assault at a home in the area of Kathleen Avenue and Walnut Avenue.
Officers were called at around 2:50 p.m. on Friday, March 29.
It's alleged a 40-year-old man struck the 28-year-old male victim with a baseball bat several times.
He's now facing charges of assault with a weapon and assault causing bodily harm.
Police said the victim sustained a large gash on his upper lip that required 25 stitches and was transported to Bluewater Health for treatment.
Police alleged the assault happened during an argument over illegal drugs.
