Youth football jerseys stolen

The Sarnia Police Service (SPS) is asking for the public's help in locating stolen property.

According to police, a package was stolen from the front porch of a residence in the area of Mackenzie Street North and Durand Street early Saturday evening.

That package contained jerseys for the Bluewater Flag Football League, which is a youth flag football league.

League organizers are trying to recover the jerseys ahead of the upcoming spring football season.

Anyone with information is asked to contact police at 519-344-8861 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS).

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
