Dock damaged in fire

Firefighters from Sarnia, Michigan and Imperial tackled a dock fire along the St. Clair River on Monday.

Crews responded to blaze at around noon. Flames and black smoke were visible.

Sarnia Fire and Rescue said with assistance from Imperial, Arlanxeo, and the fire boat from the Marysville Fire Department the situation was quickly brought under control.

Further details, including the cause of the blaze, were not immediately available.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
