Corunna woman freezes with excitement after winning $250K

A Corunna woman is celebrating her first big lottery win.

Leslie Miller, 61, won $250,000 on an INSTANT CROSSWORD DELUXE scratch ticket.

Miller has been playing INSTANT CROSSWORD twice weekly for about five years.

"I stopped to get a ticket on my way to pick up my grandson so I could play waiting for him. I noticed I won as I was scratching the ticket and screamed," she said.

Miller said she was so excited that she froze.

"I told my boss and grandchild about the win right away. They were happy," she said.

Miller purchased the ticket at Milk Marc Variety on Wellington Street in Sarnia.

She said she plans to pay off her daughter's vehicle and to buy a new one herself with her winnings.
