No injuries after train and dump truck collide

Sarnia police say no one was injured in a collision involving a train and a dump truck Tuesday morning.

Police responded to a train derailment at around 9:30 a.m. at the end of Clifford Street.

According to a release, a CSX commercial train collided at a low speed with a truck.

No hazardous materials were on board and the collision did not have any significant impact on traffic in the area.

The Sarnia Police Traffic Services Unit is investigating, but at this time no charges have been laid.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
