LKDSB ratifies local portion of agreement with OSSTF

The Lambton Kent District School Board (LKDSB) and members of the Ontario Secondary School Teachers’ Federation (OSSTF) District 10 have ratified the local portion of a collective agreement.

The tentative deal was reached in March.

The LKDSB said on Friday the deal included both permanent and occasional teachers.

“This is wonderful news for our OSSTF staff, as well as the students that they are so committed to supporting across the board,” said LKDSB Chair Randy Campbell.

The agreement covers the period from September 1, 2022 to August 31, 2026.

The LKDSB says approximately 750 staff (permanent and non) were members of the local OSSTF.
