Teen charged with mischief at Canatara Park

A Corunna driver is facing charges in connection with damage reported at Canatara Park.

Sarnia police responded to a traffic complaint on Chipican Drive at around 10:20 p.m. Monday.

Police allege an SUV had intentionally left the road and drove on the wet grass, causing damage that will require repairs.

Sarnia police said the 19-year-old driver is charged with mischief under $5,000.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
