OPP arrest suspect in April break and enter

A 37-year-old man from Warwick Township has been arrested in a mid-April break and enter at a Nauvoo Road business.

On Saturday, April 13, just before 9:30 a.m., Lambton OPP were called to a report of a break, enter, and theft.

Police said an employee reported a suspect forced their way into the business overnight and stole a quantity of cash.

They said the accused caused significant damage to the interior of the store.

The suspect is charged with break and enter to a place to commit an indictable offence, two counts of mischief under $5,000, two counts of possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000, failing to comply with an undertaking, and possession of a schedule one substance for the purpose of trafficking.

He has been released and is scheduled to appear in Sarnia court on May 13.
