The award-winning Sam Roberts Band will close out Petrolia's three-day Hard Oil Music Festival this August.
The Town of Petrolia announced the headliner of the August 17 show on Friday.
The Canadian alternative rock band has received multiple Juno Awards and Much Music Video Awards, and is currently on tour to promote its new album "The Adventures of Ben Blank."
The Hard Oil Music Festival was planned as part of the town's 150th anniversary.
The all-ages festival at Greenwood Park will kick off on Thursday, August 15.
The Petrolia 150 Planning Committee previously announced Canadian Country Singer-Songwriter Josh Ross as its Thursday night guest.
Other performers have yet to be announced.
Tickets are currently on sale for Petrolia residents only.
Town of Petrolia Director of Marketing, Arts, and Communication Laurissa Ellsworth said tickets for the general public will be available towards the end of May.
