Suspect sought in Sarnia stabbing

Sarnia police have asked the public for help in locating a woman connected to a stabbing.

Officers were called at around 5:30 p.m. Thursday to a home on Nelson Street.

The investigation determined that an altercation had taken place at that location, which resulted in a stabbing. The victim was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Police have identified the suspect as Tesha Oliver.

She is wanted for aggravated assault, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, and failure to comply with a probation order.

A photo of Oliver has been released, which shows a tattoo of the word "vivacious" over her right eye.
