Sarnia Library to be closed temporarily Thursday

The operating hours at Sarnia Library are being adjusted on Thursday, May 23 to accommodate nearby road construction.

The County of Lambton said the Christina Street branch will be closed Thursday morning because the water supply will be temporarily shut off due to the road construction on Davis Street.

“Without running water, we cannot provide essential services such as sanitation and drinking water facilities, which are crucial for the safety and comfort of our patrons and staff,” said Library Services Manager Darlene Coke. “We appreciate the understanding and patience of our patrons during this necessary service disruption."

The library will reopen at 1p.m. Thursday to accommodate afternoon and evening hours for library services and scheduled programming.

The library will close at 8 p.m.
