High levels of air pollution are possible this afternoon.

An AIR QUALITY WARNING is in place due to the possibility of deteriorating air quality. Hot and sunny conditions are expected to cause increasing ground-level ozone concentrations this afternoon. Moderate risk AQHI values are expected throughout the day with the potential of short-term high risk AQHI values in the afternoon.

When air pollution levels are high, everyone should limit time outdoors. Consider reducing or rescheduling outdoor sports, activities and events.

You may experience mild and common symptoms such as eye, nose and throat irritation, headaches or a mild cough. More serious but less common symptoms include wheezing, chest pains or severe cough. If you think you are having a medical emergency, seek immediate medical assistance.

People more likely to be impacted by outdoor air pollution, including people aged 65 and older, pregnant people, infants and young children, people with an existing illness or chronic health condition, and people who work outdoors, should reduce or reschedule strenuous activities outdoors and seek medical attention if experiencing symptoms.

Lambton OPP are appealing for tips that may help identify suspects involved in a theft investigation in Warwick Township.Provincial police said officers were dispatched to a possible theft at a business on Industrial Drive — just off of Nauvoo Road — on June 2, shortly before 1 p.m.Three men were allegedly seen leaving the business "with a variety of stolen equipment" and were last seen fleeing the area in a silver SUV that was waiting outside.OPP said the suspect vehicle travelled north on Nauvoo Road.Anyone with information is asked to contact Lambton OPP at 519-882-1011.Tips can also be reported anonymously to Sarnia-Lambton Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS) or <a target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" href="https://www.sarnialambtoncrimestoppers.org/">through its website</a>.
