Impaired charges laid after driver hits parked cars

A driver is facing charges after allegedly crashing into two parked vehicles in Plympton-Wyoming.

Lambton OPP were called to Broadway Street on July 1 at around 2:30 a.m.

The 47-year-old from Petrolia was arrested without incident.

He's charged with impaired driving and failure or refusal to comply with demand.

The accused has been released from police custody and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Sarnia to speak to the charges on July 30.

The Lambton OPP is reminding the public that if you see anything suspicious or suspect an impaired driver, contact the OPP at 1-888-310-1122.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
