Lambton OPP remind residents to lock vehicles and buildings

Lambton OPP is asking residents to keep all vehicles and buildings locked and report any suspicious activity immediately.

The reminder comes after two thefts were reported from vehicles on Venetian Boulevard in Point Edward around noon on Friday, June 28.

"It was determined that an unknown individual(s) attended two separate addresses within the same area sometime during the overnight hours and gained entry to two vehicles," police said in a news release. "Once inside, the individual(s) removed passports, gift cards, tools, golf clubs and other items."

Lambton OPP is encouraging the installation of security features, including: lighting, cameras, and alarms.

Anyone with information that could assist with this investigation is asked to call the OPP at 1-888-310-1122.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
