An investigation has been launched after an overnight break-in was reported in the area of Confederation Street and Indian Road, which resulted in a police chase.
In a social media post on X, Sarnia police said officers responded to an in-progress commercial break-in at 1 a.m. on Friday, July 5.
City police said the suspects took off in a vehicle but the pursuit was called off due to public safety concerns.
The vehicle was later found abandoned.
OPP and its K9 Unit located four people. They were arrested and custody was transferred to the Sarnia Police Service.
