Open house planned for West Bosanquet Stormwater Management Master Plan

Information from the West Bosanquet Stormwater Management Master Plan will be shared during an open house in Lambton Shores next month.

The municipality announced the development of a master plan in April after EXP Services Inc. was hired to develop long-term recommendations to address existing gaps in stormwater infrastructure in the lakeshore area.

Residents in the affected area have long complained about persistent flooding after heavy rainfall events due to minimal stormwater infrastructure.

A Public Information Centre (PIC) will cover existing conditions, discrepancies in stormwater infrastructure, alternative solutions, proposed conditions and modelling, priority issues, and next steps.

Feedback from residents and stakeholders will also be gathered during the public forum.

The PIC will be held on Wednesday, August 7, from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. in the downstairs meeting room of the Shores Recreation Centre, located at 7883 Amtelecom Pkwy., in Forest.

Comments from the PIC should be submitted by August 30 to Lambton Shores Project Manager Sam Shannon or EXP Services Stormwater Engineer Cameron Rickert. Contact details can be found on the municipality's website.
