Rodeo weekend in Brigden

The RAM Rodeo tour makes a stop in Brigden this weekend.

It's the first time the St. Clair Township community has hosted the blend of rodeo and family-friendly entertainment at the Brigden Fairgrounds.

A Lil' Buckaroos Bonanza kicks things off at 1 p.m. until 6 p.m. on Friday, July 12.

Doors to the Friday night rodeo kickoff party open at 7 p.m. The 19+ event features Scott Manery and The Barnburners.

Saturday the gates open at 11 a.m.

There's a kids rodeo, followed by the Canadian Cowgirls at noon, and live action rodeo all afternoon starting at 1 p.m. The daytime rodeo action will conclude with a night rodeo party.

The final day of rodeo competition goes Sunday with gates opening at 11 a.m.

Live action rodeo is planned all afternoon.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
