Golden K supports back to school program

The Kiwanis Club of Sarnia-Lambton Golden K is supporting the Inn of the Good Shepherd's back to school backpack program with a recent donation of $4,000.

The donated funds were raised by volunteering through the Jackpot Time Sarnia Bingo program.

"This program is run through the Ontario Charitable Gaming Association and allows a portion of the money raised at Jackpot Time to be donated to the charities and non-profit organizations that volunteer at the facility," read a media release.

The Inn's back to school program provides backpacks with grade-specific supplies for local children.

Further details about the program can be found on the Inn's website.
