More swimming medals for Canada

History continues to be made in Paris as two Canadian swimmers make the podium for the men’s 100-metre butterfly.

Joshua Liendo won a silver medal, while his teammate Ilya Kharun brought home the bronze. Hungary’s Kristof Malik took the gold.

A Canadian hasn't won a medal in the 100-metre fly since Bruce Robertson won silver in Munich in 1972.

This is also the first time two Canadians have both made the podium in the same Olympic race.
